In The Sandbox With Dr. Koshy | On The Plum Tree

In The Sandbox With Dr. Koshy | On The Plum Tree.
A lot to ponder here.. from where the voices come and what they have to say using the language at their disposal, incorporating other local and imbibed influences and how it affects modern poetry. Should one be free to use English language to suit the language of one’s thoughts or is it just Indian English poetry finding courage to lay bare its own colours, shaking off Western influences like water off a duck’s back. I hope this post will encourage a meaningful discussion and not be pushed to the bottom of the pile as is wont to happen when exploring marginal/unfamiliar/little known alleys of poetry.
Thank you Dr. Koshy and Niamh Clune for this post.
