Ichhamoti Review

Taki

Ichhamoti is a small river flowing through India and Bangladesh. Consider it as a limiting boundary or as a flowing body merging the cultures of the people through its precious waters as rivers are wont to do but the fact is it has been the inspiration for a new bi-monthly open access international  E-journal of English language and literature. “A journey from the local to the global” as its Editor- in- chief Santanu Halder puts it.  The Inaugural issue has been guest edited by Dr. Jayadeep Sarangi.

There is a wealth of in-depth critical writing in this e- journal from diverse, authoritative perspectives. I am sure writers with a devotion to fine literature will find a place here. All the very best to them for the forthcoming issues and I hope this will turn out to be one the web’s better critical e-zines and have a print issue soon. Very happy to be included in the maiden venture with three poems of mine.
