Why the wind blows heavy

Can’t you tell the absence of life
no one comes to check up on the egg
or feel the dolor of a wind that carried away
a soul without a silhouette?
A racing gale, a cliff immobile
a nest sits uneasy, a lone egg inside
The soft love jumble
grass, twigs and fluff
rolls round the blue shell
but nothing knocks from within
a most inconsequential moment
love looking to live on
but love is for everyone
life isn’t
