Letting you in
I let the orange cat out
The two of you don’t match
One knows me as much as the other won’t
He knows how I look when you don’t
You and me, we are a summer pair
Grabbing some sunshine before winter trickles into our lair
but when the mind wants to don its grays
I wish to be somewhere away
where mirrors are absent
and their conversations lost
He doesn’t mind me drooping as long I make it up again
but you reflect my blues, there is nothing orange about you
