NaPoWriMo 17 When Hungry, Eat

NaPoWriMo 17
When Hungry, Eat

The dark-eyed fawn in my eyes
senses tiger stripes rippling in yours
Around us dusk sketches twilight shadows

You can no longer stay away from the scent
nor I resist the temptation
of luring you from other prey

so you pull me away
into the darkness; hot breath
upon hotter lips
and we dine
You bite into the softest succulence
and I dig into impossibly rough hide

for when hungry one must eat
and in love, let go of false pride
